Richard Holliday‘s character in Major League Wrestling draws some inspiration from one of HBO’s most popular shows ever, according to the star.
Speaking to TV Insider, Holliday revealed that he actually draws “a lot” of inspiration for his character from HBO’s Succession, which recently came to an end last year. When it comes to a specific character from the series, Holliday said he relates most to Kendall Roy (played by Jeremy Strong), but has some Logan Roy (Brian Cox) in him, too.
“Probably Kendall. Maybe some Logan. Definitely not Roman. Roman Roy that is,” joked Holliday, referring to the character played by Kieran Culkin.
At MLW One-Shot on December 7, Richard Holliday returned to the company and challenged MLW World Heavyweight Champion Alex Kane to a match at Kings of Colosseum. He previously confirmed his free agency, and his departure from MLW, in April. He then had a WWE tryout, and he has been active on the independent scene in recent months.
