A new report provides an update on WWE’s interest in STARDOM star Giulia.
Various outlets have reported that Giulia is on WWE’s radar, with Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer previously saying she was leaning towards signing there. The NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion’s contract is not up until March.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) confirmed that WWE has maintained interest in Giulia, but there has been no word on an imminent move. Sapp cited sources who note that Giulia has STARDOM obligations until March, and keeping them was important to her. The report also confirmed Meltzer’s update, as he wrote that she told STARDOM that she would not be re-signing in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Sapp also noted that, at least as of the end of 2023, Giulia was handling contract talks herself, but that could change. He wrote that she was not thrilled about WWE’s interest leaking, as she is unable to sign with them any time soon.
In the report, Sapp cited sources who noted that a move to the United States would likely see Giulia work heavily with producers and coaches for the adjustment process. Plus, Sapp wrote that WWE sources viewed her as a “potential priority acquisition.”
Per Sapp, it is widely expected by WWE sources that Giulia would go to NXT and the Performance Center if she signed unless she was prepared for the main roster in advance.
