RUSH has been sidelined with an injury.
AEW star RUSH took to Twitter to reveal that he tore his hamstring in his second match in the AEW Continental Classic. He stated that he would recover and return. “El Toro Blanco” vowed to come back hungrier than ever for a fight.
The former ROH World Champion’s second bout in the AEW Continental Classic came on the November 29 episode of AEW Dynamite, where he defeated Mark Briscoe. He wrestled three more matches in the tournament, and he also competed at AEW Worlds End. There, he teamed up with Jay White, Jay Lethal, and Brody King in a loss against Daniel Garcia, Mark Briscoe, Claudio Castagnoli, and Bryan Danielson.
As of this writing, there is no word on when RUSH will return to the ring. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
