One of the veterans in the wrestling business is the Celtic Warrior Sheamus. There are very few in the business who have the privilege of calling themselves Grand Slam Champions. Sheamus is one among them. Although he has been currently sidelined due to an injury he has recently posted on social media teasing his return and winning championships again.
In the past couple of years, the Celtic Warrior has been receiving a lot of appreciation from fans. Thanks to his series of matches against the Ring General Gunther. Throughout their feud, the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion vowed to become an Ultimate Grand Slam Champion (winning every WWE Championship at least twice) just like The Miz. But unfortunately, he was unable to fulfill that promise. As mentioned earlier, Sheamus has been sidelined due to a shoulder injury.
Recently, The Celtic Warrior took to Twitter to share a video montage of him winning multiple championships. Then he teased that there is more to come in the future.
“..more to come,” Sheamus tweeted.
A Tremendous Asset
Recently, Sheamus’ former tag team partner Claudio Castagnoli was interviewed by WrestleTalk. during the interview, he mentioned that Sheamus is a huge asset to any wrestling promotion.
“I love Sheamus,” Castagnoli said. “He’s awesome. Any company that has him has a tremendous asset. He’s just an absolute workhorse. One of the hardest workers in and outside the ring that I know. Absolute maniac in the best sense of the word. So I think it’s always, whatever is best for my friends, for them. It’s also just fun to see what will happen. But yeah, love Sheamus.”
Sheamus’ WWE contract is also reportedly set to expire this year. Only time will tell if he will re-sign with the company.
