Andrade El Idolo comments on his departure from All Elite Wrestling.
Ahead of AEW Worlds End, multiple outlets reported that Andrade was expected to finish up with the company. At the pay-per-view on Saturday, he lost to Miro. AEW CEO Tony Khan then confirmed that Andrade would be leaving the company during the post-show media scrum.
On January 2, Andrade El Idolo took to Twitter to thank AEW and Tony Khan for his time with the promotion. He said goodbye to everyone who worked there and named various members of the roster. Andrade also thanked the fans for their support.
Following his departure from AEW, Andrade is expected to return to WWE. He left the company in March 2021 and subsequently signed with AEW.
