The National Wrestling Alliance delivered an action-packed show with the January 2 episode of NWA Powerrr.
Among other matches, Blunt Force Trauma defended the NWA World Tag Team Championship against The Fixers. Plus, Joe Alonzo clashed with Alex Misery.
The results are as follows:
- Joe Alonzo def. Alex Misery
- In an interview backstage, Samantha Starr discussed her upcoming match against NWA World Women’s Champion next week.
- Magic Jake Dumas def. Storm Thomas and Anthony Catena (with Chris Silvio, Esq.)
- William Patrick Corgan hosted a tribute to Austin Idol. Bobby Fulton came to the ring. Corgan came out with Nicole Graham, the granddaughter of Eddie Graham. Corgan gave Idol an award in recognition of his legendary career.
- Backstage Trevor Murdoch and Mike Knox discussed their struggles. Murdoch noted that he was suspended for putting his hands on a referee, but he apologized. He said enough was enough. They looked forward to their match against The Country Gentlemen.
- NWA World Tag Team Championship: Blunt Force Trauma (Damage & Carnage) (with Aron Stevens) def. The Fixers (Jay Bradley & Wrecking Ball Legursky) after Stevens distracted Legursky.
