Kevin Dunn Is Leaving WWE

Longtime wrestling executive Kevin Dunn is reportedly leaving WWE, according to a recent report from PWInsider.

The latest report from Mike Johnson notes that Dunn informed WWE sometime last week that he would be exiting the company.

A big reason for his leave, according to the report, is changes made internally following WWE’s acquisition by Endeavor, with the report specifically noting that “Dunn was ‘never going to do anything that was dictated’ to him.”

PWInsider notes that this was not an issue of creative differences, but instead a difference in how things should be run from a “TV production perspective,” with Dunn reportedly not on board with some changes WWE will be making to try and cut costs.

Dunn has a mainstay in the world of WWE for more than 30 years now, and was hired by the company full-time in 1984. He functioned as an associate producer early on in his career, before eventually becoming Executive Producer of all WWE programming in 1993, which saw him essentially oversee every WWE broadcast since then.
