Serena Deeb is officially ready to return to the ring.
During a vignette that aired at AEW Worlds End, Deeb revealed that she has been training and preparing for a return to the All Elite Wrestling ring.
While she didn’t go as far as saying when she would return, she does seem to be a few steps closer to making her highly anticipated return. Deeb last wrestled in October on an episode of AEW Dark: Elevation, where she defeated Haley J.
In November, Deeb revealed that the reason she had been so infrequently appearing in the ring is because she’s been dealing with a series of seizures that she suffered in October, but had been cleared to return to the ring.
“It’s affected my career, and it’s affected my life in a lot of ways; it’s been really scary for me,” Deeb said in an Instagram post at the time. “I’ve seen a lot of different doctors. I’ve had every test imaginable, and for the longest time, nobody could tell me why this happened. Being out of the ring has been really challenging for me. I love professional wrestling with everything in me, and I miss performing. I miss wrestling.”
