Chelsea Green was unable to travel with WWE for most of their international shows in 2023. However, she hopes that won’t be the case in 2024.
Fightful Select previously reported that Green missed WWE Money in the Bank due to visa issues. Over the past year, WWE has held premium live events in Puerto Rico, Saudi Arabia, and England. In 2024, the company will hold Backlash in France and Bash in Berlin in Germany.
In an interview with Spencer Love for Love Wrestling, Chelsea Green expressed her excitement about WWE’s international shows in 2024. Green noted that she was landlocked, but she got a travel exception due to work. (H/t Andrew Thompson of POST Wrestling for the transcription)
“I think what I’m most excited for is to attempt to qualify for Money in the Bank. Last year, unfortunately, I was landlocked so I wasn’t able to get out of the country. So being in Money in the Bank would be amazing but being in Elimination Chamber in Australia would also be really amazing. Being able to leave the country this year, travel with WWE, meet my fans and get back to Australia because I used to live there….
“I mean honestly, I go could on because I’m so excited that we’re bringing WWE to Paris and to parts of Germany. It’s just a really exciting year. I think this year will be the year that my suitcase is permanently packed. In theory, I’m not supposed to leave still but I ended up getting an exemption to be able to leave the country for work. But I was landlocked for over a year.”
