Ric Flair speaks highly of AEW World Champion MJF and says he could be the next Randy Orton.
Speaking on The Wrestling Classic, 16-time world champion Ric Flair shared his thoughts on MJF. He noted that he has tried to made it clear he hopes MJF stays with AEW.
“He’s good, and I don’t mind telling you, he’s damn good,” Ric Flair said. “He’s confident, he’s young, and I think I tried everything to reinforce to him that I hope he stays at AEW. “
Flair continued by highlighting MJF’s confidence. He stated that his future is unlimited. Flair also compared MJF to Randy Orton.
“I like the fact, he comes across as confident in real life as he finds across with his confidence in the ring. He’s got a great interview. He’s got a great look. He works hard. I think he has the confidence in real life that he portrays on TV. I think the future is unlimited for him. He’s really good. He could be the next Randy Orton. That’s about as high praise as I can give him.”
MJF is set to defend the AEW World Championship against Samoa Joe at AEW Worlds End on December 30. WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs.
