WWE is loading up the card for WWE SmackDown: New Year’s Revolution on January 5.
On the December 22 episode of WWE SmackDown, Michin, Bianca Belair, Zelina Vega, and Shotzi clashed with Daage CTRL (IYO SKY, Bayley, Asuka, and Kairi Sane) in a Holiday Havoc match, The returning Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre took out Asuka and Sane. Michin then pinned SKY, the reigning WWE Women’s Champion, for the win.
WWE later confirmed that Michin will challenge SKY for the title on the January 5 episode, which will be the New Year’s Revolution special.
Additionally, Nick Aldis booked a tag team match where Butch will find a partner to face Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince and Kit Wilson).
