Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn are back.
On the December 22 episode of WWE SmackDown, Damage CTRL (Asuka, Bayley, IYO SKY, and Kairi Sane) battled Bianca Belair, Michin, Zelina Vega, and Shotzi in a Holiday Havoc match. The two teams battled back in a holiday-themed match, where weapons like wrapped kendo sticks came into play.
In the closing moments, Asuka and Kairi Sane were looking at some presents at ringside. Fyre and Dawn popped out and attacked the duo. Their interference distracted Bayley, and Bianca Belair slammed her. IYO SKY, the reigning WWE Women’s Champion took her out with a moonsault. Michin then caught Sky by surprise and sent her through a table for the win.
Fyre and Dawn are former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions. They have been absent in recent weeks; they last competed in a dark match at the December 1 taping of SmackDown. The duo has wrestled in dark matches and at live events in recent weeks. They last wrestled on WWE programming on the June 23 episode of WWE SmackDown, where they lost to Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey.
