A high-stakes Triple Threat match has been announced for WWE SmackDown: New Year’s Revolution.
In recent weeks, Randy Orton and LA Knight have made it clear that they want revenge on Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Orton is seeking payback on The Bloodline for taking him out in 2022. Meanwhile, Knight is looking for a rematch after he lost to Reigns at WWE Crown Jewel. AJ Styles also has his sights set on “The Tribal Chief”, as The Bloodline attacked him in September.
On the December 22 episode of WWE SmackDown, Styles, Knight, and Orton all emphasized their intent to challenge Reigns for the gold. SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis then announced that Orton, Styles, and Knight would clash at SmackDown: New Year’s Revolution on January 5. The winner of that match will challenge Reigns for the gold at WWE Royal Rumble.
