Blake Christian might have earned himself a spot on the naughty list.
At GCW’s Holiday Special event on December 21, Blake Christian defended the GCW World Championship against Santa Claus himself. Referee Adam Gault also spread some Christmas cheer for the bout, as he dressed up as an elf. Santa pushed Christian to the limit, as he slammed hm through a door that was wrapped like a Christmas present.
The fans tried to root Santa on to victory, as they sang “Santa Claus is Coming to Town.” However, Christian viciously attacked Santa’s knee with a chair, clearly taking out some frustration for gifts he never received on Christmas. In another highlight, he ripped Santa’s beard off. In the end, Christian hit Santa with a chair and scored the pin.
Christian got his comeuppance after the bell, as Nick Gage and Santa Claus ganged up on him and sent him running.
Hopefully, Santa will be able to bounce back in time to deliver all the gifts for Christmas. Perhaps plenty of milk and cookies will fuel his recovery.
