Satnam Singh says AEW is planning to extend its global reach into India.
The Hindustan Times recently spoke with Satnam Singh, who is currently signed with All Elite Wrestling. Singh, a former NBA player, claims there are plans for AEW to come to India.
“I have signed with AEW now, and I stay with them always. Every week we travel and we have matches also. We are planning to bring AEW to India and expose it here so that the people in this country know what it is. This is important,” Satnam Singh explained. “The youth should know that something can be done with wrestling too. Children need to find something, analyse your health and power, and see what you can do. It is not important that you need to do sports, study, become a businessman, very important.”
No comeback plans
Satnam Singh was also asked if there are any plans to return to basketball. He shot that down and said pro wrestling is his focus now.
“No comeback plans. I don’t have any plan to come back there after whatever happened to me, I am done. I am focused in wrestling right now.”
AEW has run events outside of the United States a few times, including All In at Wembley Stadium and several tours of Canada.
