Chris Jericho sends his support to Kenny Omega.
On the December 13 episode of AEW Dynamite, Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega challenged AEW World Tag Team Champions Ricky Starks and Big Bill to face them at AEW Worlds End. The match was confirmed, but the next day, Omega took to social media to announce that he would be out of action indefinitely. It was subsequently reported that Omega was dealing with diverticulitis.
Jericho appeared on the December 20 episode of AEW Dynamite. He addressed Omega’s health and stated that they were still trying to figure out what to do about the title match. However, Jericho said that Omega’s health was the most important thing, and everyone was pulling for him. He stated that he would be there waiting for Omega, and The Golden Jets would resume once he came back.
