Jade Chung is replacing David Penzer as the ring announcer for TNA Wrestling.
TNA Wrestling officially announced the news, which was first revealed by Joel Pearl and Jeremy Lambert on Fightful Overbooked’s In The Weeds.
The announcement is as follows:
“As revealed by Joel Pearl and Jeremy Lambert of In The Weeds on Fightful Overbooked, Jennifer “Jade” Chung has signed a contract with TNA Wrestling to be the new full-time ring announcer. Hear her introduce the larger-than-life athletes of TNA when the new era begins at Hard To Kill on January 13th, 2024.”
David Penzer had been the company’s ring announcer in recent years, but IMPACT Final Resolution on December 9 marked his last show, as he left the company.
Chung has previously appeared on IMPACT programming, and she is former world champion Josh Alexander’s wife. She joined the company’s broadcast team in May 2023.
