Grayson Waller: There Is No Real Comparison Between Me, The Miz, And MJF

Grayson Waller dismisses comparisons to MJF and The Miz.

Given his brash on-screen attitude and his promo skills, Grayson Waller has often been compared to The Miz and MJF. But the WWE SmackDown star says he found his own footing from the start.

Speaking with Adrian Hernandez, Grayson Waller was asked about being compared to The Miz and MJF and whether he felt he had broken free of them.

“To be honest, I think I did that straight away. I always say, people online, they don’t really have much creativity when it comes to talking trash,” Grayson Waller said. “That’s all people do online, they talk trash. The most basic form of trash talk is comparison. That’s what I feel.

“What, I’m gonna complain because they’re comparing me to The Miz? A WrestleMania main-eventer, a guy who’s won a bunch of championships, been doing this for nearly two decades? Am I gonna complain because they compare me to MJF, who’s incredible on the mic and very good in the ring? When the comparisons are like that, I’m not gonna complain.”

Grayson Waller: We’re All Individuals, There Is No Real Comparison

Grayson Waller continued by stating that there is no real comparison between him, MJF, and The Miz. He noted that he would only start stressing if he started getting compared to some “flops.” For now, he is focused on doing his own thing.

“I think Miz and MJF and myself, we’ve all talked about it,” Grayson Waller said. “There is no real comparison, as you said. We’re just guys who go out, we’re super confident, and we say what we need to say. But we’re all individuals. So the comparisons are what they are.

“If I start getting compared to like some flops who are terrible, then I’ll start stressing. Then I’m gonna start worrying about it. But for now, I’m out doing my own thing, and that noise doesn’t enter my head.”
