There is reportedly no heat on WWE‘s end regarding Liv Morgan‘s recent arrest in Florida for possession of marijuana.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported yesterday that Liv Morgan was arrested in Florida on Thursday for possession of marijuana (not more than 20 grams) as well as a vape pen. Despite this, it doesn’t appear that Morgan has any heat with WWE over it.
According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select), WWE sources have informed him that Liv Morgan has “absolutely no heat” following Thursday’s arrest.
One member of WWE’s staff went on the record with Sapp and issued the following statement:
“Liv has not been on TV, did not alter creative plans, and was honest about the situation, there are no issues with her whatsoever.”
In addition to that, a top talent also went on the record for this report to say the following about how well-liked Morgan is backstage:
“Everybody liked Liv before, everybody still likes Liv. We’ll get our jokes off, and she’ll get hers off and nobody will be thinking about it soon enough.”
Regarding the WWE Wellness Policy, Sapp reiterated that while marijuana is still part of the policy, the company no longer tests for it.
