Solo Sikoa is the heir to the throne, but Randy Orton is next in line.
Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns returned to WWE SmackDown on December 15 for the first time since he defended against LA Knight at WWE Crown Jewel in November.
During his segment, he announced that he is selecting Solo Sikoa as the next Tribal Chief. The news was clearly a shock to Jimmy Uso. However, they didn’t have much time to process the announcement as they were interrupted by Randy Orton.
Orton cut to the chase that he’s been waiting for this moment for 18 months and wants to challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal title at WWE Royal Rumble. Reigns noted that he hasn’t thought about Orton at all in the 18 months he was out, but Orton reminded him that he is “The Legend Killer” and intends on taking everything from him.
Reigns vs. Orton marks the first title match made official for Royal Rumble in addition to the 30-man and 30-woman Royal Rumble matches. This will mark Reigns’ fourth consecutive title defense at the premium live event.
