Lexis King has been added to the NXT Men’s Breakout Tournament.
The NXT Men’s Breakout Tournament began on the December 12 episode of WWE NXT. Before the first match, all of the participants came to the stage for their official introductions. Lexis King interrupted the special moment as he showed up and hit Trey Bearhill with a chair. In doing so, he seemingly took Bearhill out.
Later in the show, King bragged about the attack, and Ava told him that the other participants wanted him to be in the tournament so they could get their hands on him. Ava then announced that King would be taking Bearhill’s place in the bracket. Bearhill was set to face Dion Lennox in the opening match.
King is still a relative newcomer to NXT, as he debuted at NXT Halloween Havoc. He competed in his first match at a premium live event at NXT Deadline on December 9. There, King lost to Carmelo Hayes.
