Trent Seven Says He Started Talking With TNA Wrestling Weeks Ago

Trent Seven discusses signing with TNA Wrestling and details the process.

At IMPACT Final Resolution on December 9, Trent Seven joined forces with Mike Bailey, and the duo beat The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel). Seven then officially signed with the company. The terms of the deal are currently unclear.

Speaking with Cultaholic Wrestling‘s Tom Campbell, Trent Seven described how he had been speaking with TNA for the past few weeks before Final Resolution. (H/t Aidan Gibbons of Cultaholic for the transcription)

“We’ve been speaking for a few weeks now. Kind of just piecing things together and making sure everything worked out,” Trent Seven said. “A lot of times in this industry and the entertainment industry it’s about saying the right thing, being in the right place at the right time, doing the right stuff, looking the right way.

“There’s a lot of things that have to link up for these things to happen and that’s what it was. It was just the right place, right time, right decision. A million and 10 things lit up, evolving on the day and just kind of continuously evolving and luckily we got to deliver the fans with a real professional wrestling exciting secret. I just love it when wrestling happens like that.”

Previously, Seven was signed to WWE; he first started wrestling for the company in 2017. Seven was featured in NXT UK, and he also competed on NXT. He is a former NXT UK Tag Team Champion with Tyler Bate. The duo also won the NXT Tag Team Championship. WWE released Seven in August 2022. Since his release, he has wrestled a few times on AEW programming, and he has been active on the independent scene.
