It’s clobberin’ time.
Madison Square Garden has announced that CM Punk will face “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio at the Live Holiday Tour event on December 26. This is set to be Punk’s first match since he returned to WWE at WWE Survivor Series on November 25. It will also be Punk’s first match overall since the 2014 WWE Royal Rumble. The bout will mark his first singles match since he beat Billy Gunn on the January 20, 2014 episode of WWE RAW.
The Kia Forum also announced that Punk will face Mysterio at the WWE Live Holiday Tour event on Saturday, December 30.
LA Knight Tells CM Punk And Randy Orton To Get In Line
At a WWE live event on December 9, LA Knight addressed CM Punk’s return, as well as that of Randy Orton, and told them to get in line regarding challenging Roman Reigns.
“All the sudden, up shows CM Punk. Then up shows Randy Orton. All I hear is everybody gunning for Roman Reigns.
“Here’s how it boils down. If Roman Reigns finds enough tingle in his loins to actually show up, he’s got a lot of people looking for him. But guess what, boys? CM Punk, Randy Orton, everybody else, you’ve got to get in line because I ain’t asking ya, I’m telling ya whose game this is.”
On the December 11 episode of WWE RAW, Punk signed with the brand and announced that he would compete in the Men’s Royal Rumble. He also had a heated confrontation with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.
