When WWE RAW celebrates the new year, Drew McIntyre will get himself a title shot.
During tonight’s episode of WWE RAW, WWE’s Adam Pearce announced that McIntyre will challenge Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, on the January 1, 2024 episode of WWE RAW. Pearce also called the episode the “Day One” edition of RAW.
McIntyre’s last shot at a title came in a loss to Rollins at Crown Jewel, now he’ll look to win with a much meaner mindset, as since his last last, he’s began siding with the Judgment Day and turning against folks like Sami Zayn.
Currently, it’s unclear what else the special episode of WWE RAW will have.
