Braun Strowman‘s looming return to WWE isn’t just about him. The former Universal Champion is looking to keep the legacy of The Wyatt Family alive.
Strowman had neck fusion surgery in June, and he has been on the road to recovery ever since. Speaking with Riju Dasgupta for Sportskeeda Wrestling, Braun Strowman was asked for an update on his health.
“So far, good. I just got recently cleared to fully start weight-training and stuff like that,” he said. “Still got a little bit to process left, but don’t worry, The Monster’s coming home soon.”
When asked whether he had a date, Strowman noted that he did not, but fans will know when he comes back.
Strowman was also asked to name the first opponent he’d like to face upon his return. He noted that he’d take on anyone who got in his way. Strowman also stated that his mindset has changed, as he has to keep the legacy of The Wyatt Family alive following Bray Wyatt’s passing.
“Whoever gets in my way. I have a whole…not a whole different mindset, but my mindset’s a little bit different,” Braun Strowman said. “The injury, I want happy about. Life circumstances that happened with Bray, I have something to prove when I come back. I have to keep our legacy as The Wyatt Family alive, and unfortunately, it’s not gonna be good for everybody because The Monster’s coming back.”
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
