Rhea Ripley Claims Dominik Mysterio Is Her ‘Forever Champion’

One of the most dominant wrestlers in WWE currently is Rhea Ripley. Along with her, the rest of the Judgment Day are all also holding championship gold. Well, almost everybody. The newest member of the faction JD McDonagh is yet to hold a title on the main roster, and Dominik Mysterio recently lost his NXT North American Championship.

This past weekend at the NXT Deadline Premium Live Event ‘Dirty’ Dominik Mysterio put his North American Title on the line against one of SmackDown’s newest additions Dragon Lee.

Lee had the ‘Master of the 619’ Rey Mysterio in his corner. Although the WWE Hall of Famer did not physically get involved in the match, he was just at the commentary table. But that was enough for Dominik Mysterio to get distracted. Finally, Lee hit the Operation Dragon finishing move to pick up the win and capture his first championship in WWE.

Following the match, The Eradicator took to both her Instagram and Twitter to reveal that she was upset and mad about her little Dom Dom losing the NXT North American Championship. Despite his loss, Rhea Ripley claimed that Dominik is the biggest workhorse in the Stamford-based promotion and that she’s very proud of his growth.

“Am I upset? Sad? Mad? Yes. But @dominik_35 has been THE BIGGEST WORKHORSE within WWE all year! His growth has been insane… Very VERY proud! Forever my Champion ? #NXTDeadline,” Rhea Ripley tweeted.

After losing the title match, Dirty Dom poured his frustrations out. One of his biggest disappointments was the fact that Finn Balor, Damian Priest, JD McDonagh, and his Mami were not present at the PLE to support him.

“You all saw what happened out there. I am the greatest NXT North American Champion that has ever been. Dragon Lee, my deadbeat Dad… Where’s Judgment Day? Where’s Finn, where’s Damian? JD? Mami? You know what? I am going to go home to Mami, because Judgment Day runs all and this shouldn’t be happening,” Dominik Mysterio said.

Do you think Dominik Mysterio was a workhorse champion?
