WWE will kick off the new year with a special episode of WWE NXT.
During WWE NXT Deadline on December 9, the broadcast team confirmed that NXT New Year’s Evil would be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. The event will air as a special episode of NXT. Throughout NXT Deadline, the commentary team confirmed two matches for New Year’s Evil. Ilja Dragunov will defend the NXT Championship against Trick Williams, who won the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge.
Plus, NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria will defend her title against Blair Davenport, who won the Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge.
NXT New Year’s Evil 2023 featured a 20-woman battle royal for a shot at the NXT Women’s Championship. Plus, Bron Breakker defended the NXT Championship against Grayson Waller.
