Eddie Kingston scored a big win in the AEW Continental Classic tonight, taking down Claudio Castagnoli to grab some points.
In a fairly even back-and-forth match at AEW Collision tonight, it was Kingston who did just enough to come out with a win. Late in the match, Kingston was able to reverse a rollup attempt from Castagnoli. Kingston was able to hold down Claudio long enough to lock in a win.
Kingston’s win is the first of the classic, and scores him his first three points of the classic. If he wants to come back and have a shot at winning the whole thing, he’ll have to keep up the wins.
