Dominik Mysterio says he has been carrying WWE for almost two years.
At NXT Deadline, Dominik Mysterio was set to defend the NXT North American Championship against Wes Lee. On the December 5 episode of WWE NXT, Lee announced that he had to get back surgery, so he would be unable to compete. Dragon Lee was then announced as his replacement at the Premium Live Event.
In a SmackDown Exclusive, Dominik Mysterio shared his thoughts ahead of his title match at NXT Deadline. He stated that his back also hurts from carrying the company.
“My back also hurts from carrying this company on my back for the past almost two years now. I already beat Dragon Lee, twice, with my dad in his corner,” Dominik Mysterio said. “So I don’t know I need to continue to prove myself on why I’m the greatest NXT North American Champion that has ever stepped foot on this planet. But anyways, I think we’re done here because I need to go somewhat prepare for Dragon Lee, I guess. I already beat the guy, but whatever.”
