While he might not be happy about it, Matt Cardona is man enough to give credit when it’s due.
The Indy God put a series of posts this week on social media to make it clear that water should be provided for all wrestling talent backstage at independent wrestling events.
While some shady promoters have scoffed at Cardona’s statement, he’s gathered a great deal of support for the cause in the last 48 hours.
The Major League Wrestling star’s posts caught the attention of Bully Ray and Busted Open Radio this morning, who discussed the situation in length on their show earlier this morning. Ray then took to social media to voice his support for Cardona’s cause, tweeting out:
“We actually spoke about this today @BustedOpenRadio. The boys need to stick together. If promoter doesnt have something as SIMPLE as water, the entire locker room should just walk out. Then, you’ll see how quick the promoter gets water,” Bully Ray said in a post.
Cardona quote retweeted the TNA Wrestling star and, despite their past differences, conceded that Bully was correct, tweeting back.
“Save this tweet or whatever it’s called… BULLY. RAY. IS. RIGHT,” Matt Cardona said in a post.
