The participants for the NXT Men’s Breakout Tournament have been confirmed.
On the December 5 episode of WWE NXT, a video package hyped up the NXT Men’s Breakout Tournament, which will begin on the December 12 episode.
The list of participants is as follows:
- Riley Osborne
- Keanu Carver
- Tavion Heights
- Dion Lennox
- Luca Crusifino
- Myles Borne
- Trey Bearhill
- Oba Femi
A Men’s NXT Breakout Tournament has not been held since 2021, when Carmelo Hayes won the tournament. Hayes went on to win the NXT North American Championship and the NXT Championship.
In 2022, Roxanne Perez won the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament. She unsuccessfully challenged Mandy Rose for the NXT Women’s Championship. Perez ultimately won the Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline and proceeded to dethrone Rose.
Lola Vice recently won the 2023 NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament, as she beat Kelani Jordan in the finals on the October 31 episode of WWE NXT.
