Drew McIntyre continues to tell it the way he sees it.
Former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre has been showing the WWE Universe a new side of himself in recent weeks. He has been more aggressive, and he even aligned with The Judgment Day ahead of WWE Survivor Series. McIntyre continues to feud with Jey Uso, but he briefly targeted another fan-favorite star on Monday night.
McIntyre came to the ring to kick off the December 4 episode of WWE RAW. He described how it felt like RAW had become the land of people of who had lost their minds. McIntyre also alluded to CM Punk’s WWE return. He said, “Apparently you can get fired, released, leave, do what you want for a bunch of time, come back to the company, and you’re instantly forgiven these days.”
McIntyre’s comments commented “CM Punk” chants, but he noted that he could be talking about anyone. To be fair, a number of WWE stars have left the company and returned at a later date, but Punk is the clearest example at the moment.
After the promo, McIntyre scored a hard-fought win against Sami Zayn.
