Eddie Kingston is 0-2 in the AEW Continental Classic, but he says it’s “on” now.
ROH World Champion Eddie Kingston has put his title, along with the NjPW STRONG Openweight Championship on the line in the tournament. On the December 2 episode of AEW Collision, he lost to Bryan Danielson, so Kingston is now 0-2 in tournament action.
AEW shared Eddie Kingston’s post-match comments in a video on social media.
“0-2. That sounds good. Bryan…I saw that sign that a fan held [that said ‘Eddie is a bum.’ Fans can love me or hate me, that’s their business, that’s their right,” Eddie Kingston said. “You pay [to get] a ticket, you do what you do.”
“But if Bryan thinks that because I see a sign that calls me a bum or I’m down 0-2 that I’m gonna go back and be self-hating and be self-destructive, I’ve done that dance, Bryan. I’ve done that dance. I’m not doing it again. I’m trying to grow, I’m trying to be better.”
Eddie Kingston Warns His AEW Continental Classic Opponents
Eddie Kingston went on to send a message to his opponents in the AEW Continentsl Classic. He vowed to beat up Claudio Castagnoli and “f*ck up” everyone else who is in his way.
“0-2. But I gotta move onto the next one, and that’s you, Claudio,” he said. “Claudio, I want you to go to Bryan later. Actually, go to Bryan after our match, after I beat the dogsh*t out of you. I want you to go to Bryan and blame him. Blame him for that.
“Because Bryan Danielson, you gave me all the motivation in the world. Claudio, I’m gonna f*ck you up. Bryan, I’m gonna get you again, I’m gonna f*ck you up. Everybody who’s in my way, I’m gonna f*ck you up. Because now, now it’s on. Now it’s on.”
