John Cena comments on Randy Orton‘s move to WWE SmackDown.
On the December 1 episode of WWE SmackDown, Randy Orton appeared on the show, less than a week after he returned to WWE at WWE Survivor Series. Orton had been sidelined since May 2022, so both RAW and SmackDown were eager to have “The Viper” join their roster.
On Friday night, both Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis tried to convince Orton to sign an exclusive contract. In the end, Orton put pen to paper and signed with WWE SmackDown, so he will be joining the blue brand.
16-time world champion John Cena commented on the news by saying it was absolutely incredible to see Randy Orton continue to excel after such a storied career. He called Orton a massive pickup for SmackDown and warned everyone to look out for the RKO.
Cena and Orton have clashed on numerous occasions, as they have feuded throughout their remarkable careers.
