Jeff Hardy Is Still Having Issues With Double Vision After Eye Surgery In March

Jeff Hardy is back on the road, but it sounds like he’s dealing with some lingering issues due to a recent surgery.

He joined his brother, Matt Hardy, and co-host Jon Alba on the 100th episode of The Extreme Life Of Matt Hardy. Jeff was gone from AEW TV for nearly a year after his June 2022 DUI arrest. During his absence, he had eye surgery. Matt offered an update in April and said that Jeff had surgery on his eyes but did not disclose the exact details of the procedure.

Now, Jeff is getting back on the road and working with Matt again, recently competing with Isiah Kassidy against Action Andretti & Top Flight on the November 29 episode of AEW Dynamite.

However, he says he is still dealing with some lingering issues because of the surgery. He can make his way through matches, but has other issues that haven’t cleared up yet.

My biggest challenge

“My biggest challenge has been the eye surgery I had back in March. [I have issues] with double vision, so that’s still my biggest fear. I can see where I need to see. The double vision is still there,” Jeff Hardy explained. “For example, leaning back in bed and trying to watch TV. Even looking at the camera now, it’s doubling up on me a little bit.

“But to the left, it’s where it all started. That’s pretty much gone, so I can see where I need to in the wrestling ring. I just need to do more matches. More matches like tonight where I’m actually excited to go out there and perform,” Jeff added. “It’s just, as long as we keep having nights like we had tonight, I’m super excited about the future of the Hardys. Doing something we’ve never done before, if you know what I mean.”
