Kevin Owens just wants to have fun at work.
CM Punk returned to WWE at Survivor Series, his first appearance in the company in nearly ten years. Kevin Owens recently spoke with James H. Williams and was asked about CM Punk’s return to the company. Owens said he is focused on having fun at work. If Punk shares that attitude, then he thinks that’s great.
“I just want to have fun at work,” Kevin Owens said. “So if he’s got that mindset, great.”
As a follow-up, Owens was asked about Randy Orton, who also returned at Survivor Series.
“I love Randy. I’m so happy he’s back and he’s much-needed.”
Owens said that having Orton around is an absolute positive.
“Besides the fact that he’s a fantastic performer and he’s a legend, there’s some people that are just good to have around. He’s good to have around,” Owens said. “He’s good for the morale and he brings a sense of — there are people that are leaders without having to say, ‘I’m a leader.’ They just are. Randy’s one of them.”
Owens said that people step up their game when Orton is around, and he loves that.
Many people have been happy to see CM Punk back in WWE. However, some others, like Jon Moxley were brief in their thoughts on the Straight Edge Superstar’s comeback. Read more about what Moxley had to say here.
