Jon Moxley doesn’t say much when asked about CM Punk’s WWE return.
In an interview with Liam Crawley of ComicBook.com, Jon Moxley was asked about CM Punk’s promo on the November 27 episode of WWE RAW, where he said he was home following his return at Survivor Series.
“You don’t want to know what I think. I didn’t see it,” Moxley said. “You do not want to know what I think (laughs).”
Punk reportedly had heat with Moxley in the aftermath of Brawl Out, Punk’s backstage confrontation with Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks following AEW All Out 2022. Punk’s subsequent absence led to Moxley becoming AEW’s flag-bearer more than ever before. Moxley then built his reputation as one of the stars AEW could count on more than anyone.
“I feel like I thrive in those situations,” Moxley said. “Scramble to the f–king jets and get Moxley in the air. Oh f–k, we don’t have a main event. You’ve got to make people care about this and make this a main event in a week. I just pull main events out of my a– when I’m in those situations. I feel more comfortable when I’m the guy with the ball in the fourth quarter. It’s hard to not want to grab the ball and take the shot myself.”
