Cody Rhodes speaks highly of QT Marshall and looks forward to seeing what he does next.
On November 27, QT Marshall announced that he had resigned from All Elite Wrestling. He had a Vice President role with the company, in addition to his work on-screen and his other responsibilities backstage.
WWE star and former AEW Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes took to social media to comment on Marshall’s departure.
“Did the work – was essential in making so many memories for fans & has been so instrumental in helping countless wrestlers,” Cody Rhodes wrote. “A pros’ PRO. We almost became friends ha. I can’t wait to see what you do next! An OG and outstanding “num 2” through his tenure. Congratulations QT on the run so far.”
Rhodes and Marshall are good friends, and QT was featured on-screen as part of Cody’s Nightmare Family in AEW. They later feuded as Marshall formed The Factory. The Nightmare Factory school had been owned and operated by Marshall and Rhodes until Cody returned to WWE. Marshall continues to operate the facility, while Rhodes remains involved as a trainer.
