CM Punk On WWE Return: I’ve Changed, I’m Home

CM Punk says he has come home.

On the November 27 episode of WWE RAW, former WWE Champion CM Punk discussed his shocking return to the company. He previously appeared in the closing moments of WWE Survivor Series, which marked his return for the first time since 2014.

On Monday, CM Punk called his return a career highlight, and he said he was scared to say that he has changed because it was true. He described how he had come home to the place where he belongs, and the veteran stated that WWE has everything he has always wanted.

Punk also referenced walking out on the company in 2014 by noting that a wise man told him that he had to leave to get everything he wanted from WWE, so he did. Punk expressed his gratitude for the fans and noted that they never forgot about him, even when he wanted to forget about himself.

He said that almost everyone has welcomed him back, as plenty of people were happy to see him. Punk also stated that others were scared, either because he raised the bar, he had the brass ring, or they couldn’t do anything about the fact that the most dangerous man in the business had walked through the front door. Punk shared his belief that some were scared to accept that their best effort to be the best in the world was false, as the best in the world had come back.

Finally, CM Punk said that he was there to make money, not friends.
