Triple H weighs in on the shocking return that took place at Survivor Series.
The 2023 Survivor Series Premium Live Event saw many exciting moments, including several returns from some big names.
Triple H kicked off Saturday night’s Survivor Series PLE press conference by addressing the return that had everyone talking — R-Truth.
“A lot of things to talk about, but let’s talk about the big return,” Triple H quipped. “R-Truth is back, baby! Yeah! Eating chips, just going to town. R-Truth is the man! Yeah, I never saw it coming. How we were able to keep that quiet, mindblowing. But R-Truth is back and I expect that to be headlines everywhere for all of you.”
Triple H knows what’s up!
“I’ll be back before y’all know it”
Saturday marked R-Truth’s first appearance on WWE TV since tearing his quad tendon on the November 1, 2022 episode of NXT.
R-Truth confirmed that tore his quad tendon and needed surgery.
“Hey, hey, hey. What’s up? First off, I want to thank each and every one of y’all for y’all concerns and your get-wells, your prayers, your support,” Truth said. “Yes, unfortunately yeah, I got hurt. I did tear my quad tendon, and I’m at the surgery now as we speak. It is what it is, right? You guys know I’ll be back. I wanna you. Without you, there ain’t no me. I’ll be back before y’all know it.”
Truth ended up having a second surgery in January due to an infection after the first surgery. This pushed his return timeframe back.
“Yeah, I’m going back to WWE, I’ve just got to heal up. I had to have two surgeries. A lot of people don’t know that. I got an infection, so I had to have another surgery. That set me back but y’all know me, I’m probably coming back sooner than y’all think.”
