Will Ospreay takes a moment to process his incredible year.
Throughout 2023, Will Ospreay has faced Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, and other stars. He also had an impressive run in the G1 Climax. Ospreay competed at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17 and AEW’s historic AEW All In event at Wembley Stadium. Fans buzzed about Ospreay’s future, as his NJPW contract was set to expire in February. At AEW Full Gear, Ospreay officially signed with AEW, though he stated that he would be finishing up with NJPW first.
Ospreay took to Twitter on November 24 and noted that he committed and bet on himself to never compromise on the things he treasures most. He also stated that he was determined to paint his artwork the way he wanted it painted. Ospreay wrote that, now, the thing he loves will provide for the people he loves.
Will Ospreay Reflects On His Growth
In a follow-up post, Will Ospreay discussed his growth as a person. He described how he was even more proud of that than his in-ring accomplishments.
While Ospreay stated that he worked tirelessly so he could deliver in the ring, he stated that he was proud of the way he has been there for his family. He also wrote that he has grown leaps and bounds compared to the man he used to be.
Ospreay emphasized that he is filled with gratitude for those who gave supported him, and for the companies who have given him opportunities. He closed the message by saying that everyone has been part of the process of him becoming a man, and he is thankful.
