Ronda Rousey Came To Ring Of Honor To Make Sure Marina Shafir Had A Great Time

This past Thursday night, the wrestling world was caught by surprise when former WWE Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey made her debut at Ring of Honor Wrestling. Following her appearance, she also shared a special moment backstage with one of her best friends and former colleagues Marina Shafir.

Both Marina Shafir and Ronda Rousey have been best friends since their time in the UFC. The two also worked together in WWE for a short time. On the latest episode of Ring of Honor television, the former Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion made her debut. Rousey teamed up with her best friend to defeat the team of Athena and Billie Starkz.

Following the episode, The Baddest Woman on the Planet had a few words of encouragement for Shafir.

“Marina, as your best friend I want you to have so much fun doing this. And I came here to personally make sure that you had a really good time today. Also, it wasn’t out of the way, I like live here as well so I just got to stop by. But it was a really good time. And you just keep having a good time without me here. Even though it is never going to be as much as a good time because I’m your f****** best friend. And I totally swore so I guess… Like it’s okay. You just get used to having not as good as a time as you normally would when I’m around. But still, have that much of a good time you know, because I want that for you because I love you,” Ronda Rousey said.

In the same clip, Shafir also hinted at the possibility of Rousey singing with ROH.
