Danhausen is back.
During the November 22 episode of AEW Dynamite, Orange Cassidy had a surprise for everyone in the spirit of the holidays. Prior to his trios match, Cassidy welcomed out a returning Danhausen.
Danhausen, who received a warm welcome from the Chicago crowd, stayed at ringside to witness Cassidy, HOOK, and Katsuyori Shibata score a victory over the team of Jake Hager, Matt Menard, and Angelo Parker. At one point, Danhausen revealed that he had possession of Hager’s signature purple hat.
Danhausen has been out of action since AEW Revolution in March where he tore his pec during a four-way AEW World Tag Team Championship match. A vignette for his return first aired on October 6 before his return was promoted for the November 10 AEW Rampage. However, Danhausen’s official return was delayed with no reason provided.
