NWA Announces Tim Storm Is Returning To Wrestling Full-Time

Tim Storm is returning to the ring full-time.

On the November 21 episode of NWA Powerrr, May Valentine announced that Tim Storm is returning to wrestling full-time. Storm, a former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion, commented on the news in a backstage interview. He noted that, even as a former world champion, he had something to prove. Storm also discussed his goal to chase the NWA World Tag Team Championship with Jax Dane.

Storm, 59, previously moved to NWA’s commentary team. He returned to the ring at NWA 75, where Dane beat him via stoppage due to an apparent injury. Storm has been wrestling since 1995. In addition to his world title reign, he is a two-time NWA North American Heavyweight Champion. Though he had transitioned to a commentary role in NWA, he has remained somewhat active on the independent scene.

When Storm won the world title in NWA at the age of 51, he became the oldest wrestler to win the championship in the history of the promotion.
