Report: Billy Corgan Planning Roster And Production Cuts For The NWA

It sounds like things aren’t getting any easier for Billy Corgan and the National Wrestling Alliance.

After reportedly losing their deal with CW due to a cocaine spot on their most recent pay-per-view and talent growing frustrated with Corgan’s direction, it sounds like the company is taking things in a cost-cutting direction.

According to Nick Hausman of Haus of Wrestling, Corgan is expected to make cuts to his roster and production crew shortly. One source tells Hausman that Corgan is expected to make cuts “at every corner.”

In addition, future tapings of NWA Powerrr are expected to run with “a bare-bones crew” by only using contracted talent. This doesn’t sound promising for a company that was believed to be heading to a top 20 network next year.

Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information on the state of the National Wrestling Alliance as it becomes available.
