AEW Continental Classic Announced, Bryan Danielson To Compete

The AEW Continental Classic is coming.

It was announced tonight on AEW Collision by All Elite Wrestling owner Tony Khan that the AEW Continental Classic will kick off on November 22 in Chicago, with the finals taking place at AEW World’s End on December 30.

In something that sounds a great deal like New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s G1 Climax, 12 wrestlers will compete in two groups of six in a round-robin style tournament. The group finals will take place in Orlando next month prior to the pay-per-view.

Tony Khan announced the first competitor for the Continental Classic as none other than Bryan Danielson. We should expect further additions to the tournament in the coming days.

Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information as it becomes available.
