MLW Fusion Results – November 9, 2023
This week’s episode of MLW Fusion kicked off with an announcement that due to the way last week’s main event went down, a rematch between The Calling and the Second Gear Crew will take place at Fightland and will be a ladder match.
Griffin McCoy defeated Hot Sauce Tracy Williams
- After a ref bump, Griffin McCoy hits Tracy Williams with a low blow, followed by a springboard kick to score the pinfall victory.
We hear from MSL at World Titan Federation Headquarters. MSL says he has a big announcement for Fightland that he’ll make later on tonight. MSL addresses Jacob Fatu and says he has receipts coming for stealing Matt Cardona’s BMW last week. The official logo for the World Titan Federation is unveiled, which is clearly a ripoff of the WWF logo from the 1980s.
Janai Kai (w/ Salina de la Renta) defeated Riley Krowe to retain the MLW World Women’s Featherweight Championship
- Janai Kai hits Riley Krowe with a sidekick and pummels her until the referee stops the match in seconds.
Sam Leterna tries to interview Salina and Janai Kai on the stage. Salina calls Leterna a moron and kicks her off the stage. Salina puts over Janai Kai. Kai refers to herself as a kick demon.
A video package for The Calling plays, which continues to tease the dissension between Rickey Shane Page and AKIRA.
Rocky Romero is backstage. Romero says MLW has stepped up and given him a worthy competitor at MLW Fightland in Máscara Dorada. Romero says he doesn’t care about Dorada’s tag team partner, Ichiban.
We hear from Don King, who says Alex Kane will prove why he’s the greatest world champion in Major League Wrestling history when he defeats Jacob Fatu at MLW Fightland.
Tom Lawlor speaks on MLW Fusion
Tom Lawlor is backstage. Lawlor says he’s only been back in MLW for a short time, but he’s tired of Alex Kane and the Bomaye Fight Club running their mouths. Lawlor says he and Matt Cardona will face Kane and Mr. Thomas on the Thanksgiving episode of MLW Fusion.
Bomaye Fight Club defeated The Mane Event
- Mr. Thomas hits Midas Black with a powerbomb and scores the pinfall victory for his team.
Mance Warner is backstage with 1 Called Manders going over strategy for Fightland, but The Calling attacks them, and the four men brawl.
Court Bauer hosts a contract signing between Alex Kane and Jacob Fatu. Matt Cardona gets involved and instigates a brawl between the two men; the contract wasn’t signed as MLW Fusion went off the air.
