NXT superstar Lexis King is taking the credit for the recent boost in viewership the company saw following its latest episode.
After Tuesday’s episode of NXT saw a huge spike in viewership — reaching almost 800,000 viewers — from the previous week. King took to social media on Wednesday to share a clip of a segment with himself in the ring along with Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams, and took credit for the big bump in viewers.
“Leave it to a bonafide star like me to draw ratings and elevate everyone around me! Trick finally got his thumb out of his mouth and now we are one step closer to solving this conundrum,” said King in his tweet. “All thanks to the future king of NXT.”
