What would it take to bring Mandy Rose back to professional wrestling?
Former WWE Superstar Mandy Rose was a recent guest on Busted Open Radio. When asked if she’s had the itch to return to the at any point this year, Rose admitted that she surprisingly hasn’t.
“So, to be honest, I haven’t really got the itch yet,” Mandy Rose admitted. “I’m actually a little surprised, I thought that I would get it, as we just said, coming up on almost a year, but I really haven’t. I do miss certain things; don’t get me wrong, I missed the camaraderie; I miss my friends over there; I speak to them a lot. I miss that adrenaline rush, of course, but the itch to get out there and wrestle right now I don’t have a right now, I have to be honest.”
When asked how her body is feeling since she hasn’t had to wrestle in almost a year, Rose said she’s been feeling good, but she is still training in case she wants to return to the squared circle.
“My body has been feeling good,” Mandy Rose said. “Thankfully, I wasn’t a crazy high flyer, and I didn’t do a lot of crazy moves. So I had no injuries my whole career. So I’ve been blessed in that aspect. But my body’s been feeling good. I still train five, six days a week. I’m still ready if I want to get right back in there, which I like to stay ready. I don’t like to get off my grind. But my body’s been feeling good. So that’s definitely a plus.”
If she had the pencil…
When asked if Vince McMahon called her this week with an offer to return to RAW and would give her the choice of what to do, Rose said she would have that conversation because she’d love to have a main roster run with a reunited Toxic Attraction.
“Giving me the pencil? Wow. I think it’s a conversation for sure,” Mandy Rose admitted. “I’m not saying no, especially if they’re giving me the pencil. Yeah, that’s a conversation, for sure. I think there’s probably multiple people that I would like to work with if I really sat down and thought about it, but I know it’s kind of done, and we’re all split up and all, but I mean, Toxic Attraction was a big thing.
“I mean, we all can’t deny that. So sometimes I’ve thought about it. I’m like, oh, that would be really cool. Imagine I came back and reunited them, and it was Toxic Attraction on the main roster; that would be cool, I would say. But you never know.”
Rose would close out the interview by stating while she doesn’t currently have an itch to return if she did return to professional wrestling, it would be because of her fans.
“When you brought up earlier about the itch, I just want to say one thing,” Mandy Rose teased. “I don’t have the itch, but I will say the fans are the ones that would make me want to come back, to be honest. Not to say that I wouldn’t want to do it for myself. But do I need to do it? Probably not. But if I would do it, it would be for the fans. And I’m not just saying that because I really grew a tremendous fan base from NXT those last few years as champion.”
