Swerve Strickland is one of the top heels in All Elite Wrestling. The Leader of the Mogul Embassy has also made a lot of enemies throughout his run in AEW. Starting from The Acclaimed to Keith Lee, to most recently ‘Hangman’ Adam Page.
As mentioned above, the former AEW World Tag Team Champion Swerve Strickland has been feuding with former AEW World Heavyweight Champion ‘Hangman’ Adam Page. A couple of weeks ago, Strickland broke into Page’s house while the former AEW World Champion was wrestling on Dynamite. Strickland not only went into the house, he also seemingly threatened Page’s kid in the process.
Following this, the former AEW World Tag Team Champion wrestled AR Fox in the opening match of Collision this past Saturday. During the match, he hit Fox with a unique power slam maneuver.
After the match, Strickland took to Twitter to pitch a name for his finisher. The former WWE Superstar called it ‘Home Invasion’. This was another dig at Hangman Adam Page and his unexpected visit to the former AEW World Champion’s home.
“I’m calling this the “Home Invasion,” Swerve Strickland tweeted.
Swerve Strickland and ‘Hangman’ Adam Page had wrestled each other once on AEW television. It was at the AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday episode. In the match, Page, despite putting on a tough fight, was unable to defeat Strickland. One of the main reasons was the fact that the former WWE Superstar had the rest of the Mogul Embassy helping him. They previously competed on the Wrestledream pay-per-view.
Now, the two are set to face each other for the second time at the AEW Full Gear pay-per-view.
